Kayak safari

Again this year, I invite you to enjoy a nice kayak trip down the river with us. It is a very easy ride, since we follow the river with the current. This activity is for the whole family (dogs included). We will do the Athelstan route (7 km). If the water level allows it, it may be possible to do this river on paddleboard (SUP).

Cost

45$ / 3 hr. Includes the kayak, paddle and life jacket (price for an adult).

15$ for transport when you have your own kayak.

Meeting time and place

You will receive this information in an e-mail sent by Caroline, the organizer of this event, a few days before the event (Thursday at the latest).

Registration and carpooling

Registration is mandatory. The registration deadline is on June 8th or when we reach 30 participants. The activity is also listed on the Meetup group “Les Chouettes”. As mentionned in the newsletter, we are trying out that plateform. Registration should be done on Meetup as much as possible.

Please tell me if you have your own kayak or need to rent one. It is highly recommended for an adult to be in a single kayak. The only time it is better to be in a double kayak, is if you are with a child under 12 years old.

During registration, please let us know if you need a lift or you can offer some and how many. The passengers will split the cost of the gas / electricity.
