Camping at parc Leslie
Back after a forced absence: the Chouettes’ camping week-end! Caroline and Élaine will be your co-organizers this year.
About the site
We made a reservation at Parc Leslie, in the Outaouais region. It’s +/- 3,5 hours drive from Montréal. We have booked a group site, situated near Moore lake. This campsite is accessible to travel trailers. You can also camp in a tent. Dogs (on leash) are allowed. The site capacity is 30 persons.
This is a rustic campground, with no services. Two outdoor toilets are installed on the premises. We also have access to the facilities at the Parc Leslie (main campground) for water, showers and equipment rentals (canoes, kayaks and pedal boats).
There are 4 kms of hiking / cycling trails around the lake.

Cost
A 25$ deposit is required to reserve your place. If we are 30 persons, that amount will cover the two nights of camping. If we are less people, there might be an extra fee to cover the cost. If you cancel, your deposit will be refunded only if a new participant takes your place. We ask that you honour your payment commitments, as booking the campground requires a financial commitment from the organizer.
Registration and carpooling
Registration is mandatory. Since this type of activity requires a lot of logistics, registration will require more information from you. We will probably create a Facebook or Messenger group so that we can share information together and know who is participating.
Information required with your registration:
- Do you have a car? If so, can you offer lifts and how many?
- Do you have camping equipment? If so, can you offer places in your tent or trailer?
- If you have made arrangements with another participants, please let me know;
- Authorization to be added to the Facebook / Messenger group.
